Love Love Tulisan Indonesia

05.22.2015 by Leah // 7 Comments

I'm having some kind of Cath Kidston withdrawal.  Proof?  I haven't been stalking their website for 3 weeks already haha! It used to be that I check the Cath Kidston website every week, not exactly looking for something to buy but just to window shop. Big thanks to my Cath Kidston sisters - Mother E and Diane, I was able to build up my Cath Kidston collection that fast ... READ MORE

Bag Crush: Mansur Gavriel

05.01.2015 by Leah // 5 Comments

I can't even begin to tell you how bad I wanted to own a Mansur Gavriel.  The Bag Hag blogged about it in January this year, and it was love at first sight (again!) for me. It was the description "very light" that made me take interest in their bags - particularly the tote bag which is simple in design but has very fine structure.  Investing in good leather bag/s is always a ... My Summer Bag: Tulisan Hobo Tote Bag

05.03.2014 by Leah // 4 Comments

Remember the handcrafted clutch by Tulisan Indonesia I featured a few weeks ago?   I made mention of this Hobo Tote bag that got me instantly smitten, and which I asked my sweet friend from Indonesia (Mba Dyah) to buy for me. The bag arrived this week and it's really prettier in person  =)   The colors are bright and striking and happy.  Just the perfect summer bag that I ... READ MORE

Tulisan Indonesia

04.10.2014 by Leah // 2 Comments

I received this lovely, handcrafted clutch last week from my sister-in-law's sister-in-law, Mba Dyah, who is Indonesian and is one of the sweetest ladies I know (Hi Mba Dyah!). The clutch is by Tulisan (which means "handwriting" in Bahasia Indonesian), a well-known local brand in Jakarta that carries "a collection of handmade, limited-edition illustrated prints that are ... Holiday Gift Guide for Tween Girls

09.19.2013 by Leah // Leave a Comment

Don't you love it when you see two or more items inside your gift box?  Not only do I find that extra thoughtful of the giver; I also appreciate the effort that goes with picking which items go together and making sure that the recipient will like everything. Last Christmas, I tried putting together some bath items and packed them as Christmas goodies for my office ... READ MORE

Bargain Finds at the Robinson’s Warehouse Sale

10.16.2012 by Leah // 2 Comments

I can't believe how far my P1,000.00 (about $24.00 at current exchange rate) went when I looked at the items I bought from last weekend's warehouse sale at World Trade Center, sponsored by Robinson's Mall and Metrobank Credit Card. Side story:  I went with AJ and my cousin, Mae Anne, and almost backed out when we were told that the sale is exclusive to Metrobank ... READ MORE

Who would've thought that she will bloom into a really pretty cat, with salmon-colored nose, beautiful doe eyes, a prominent white hair scarf, and powdery white cheeks.

But she is very far from innocent, and is now feared by the male cats here twice her size because she is #GigitheCatBully pala 😅

Happy 9th monthsary, Gigi Ganda 🥰

To My Father By Georgia Harkness A giant pine, ma To My Father
By Georgia Harkness

A giant pine, magnificent and old
Stood staunch against the sky and all around
Shed beauty, grace and power.
Within its fold birds safely reared their young.
The velvet ground beneath was gentle,
and the cooling shade gave cheer to passers by.
Its towering arms a landmark stood, erect and unafraid,
As if to say, “Fear naught from life’s alarms”.
It fell one day.
Where it had dauntless stood was loneliness and void.
But men who passed paid tribute – and said,
“To know this life was good,
It left it’s mark on me. Its work stands fast”.
And so it lives. Such life no bonds can hold –
This giant pine, magnificent and old.

~

To our shelter and safety while he lived, we miss you so much.
Happy 2nd Year in Heaven, Daddy ❤
