![[ Long story ahead] π Yesterday evening we checked on GG2 and found that 2 kitties were missing. We don't know where she put them because her area is already fenced to avoid the kitties from wandering off.
Turned out we are now at that stage where the momma cat is transferring her kitties because: (a) the birthing box has gotten too small for them though we put them out of the box already and fenced the area, (b) the area is dirty and OC si GG2, or (c) the area is too exposed and too bright for them.
After looking around with flashlight, we found the 2 kitties under the other plant stand just outside our door, walking at different directions and if not for the flashlight ay baka natapakan ko na π¬ We hurriedly put them back in their original box muna with their other siblings, and placed kraft paper in this potential '2nd home' under the plant stand in case GG2 transfers them again.
True enough, she transferred them back there - at midnight. We woke up this morning at the sound of meowing GG2. She is telling us that her babies want breakfast na so it's time to feed her as well π
Now I know why nag lipat bahay sya. Gusto pala nya mas malapit sya sa amin π Isang sigaw or meow meow lang nya, nakasilip na kme sa kanya π.
Haaayz, who knew that having a momma cat and newborn kitties would be this stressful - and entertaining π
