Nivea’s Happy Time Deodorant.   I love the orange scent and shower fresh feeling, not to mention the reliable protection I get all day long.   Vaseline’s Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Body Lotion.  I’ve been using Vaseline’s Healthy White Lotion for the longest time.   My skin loves it and I love both its smell and milky texture (I hate sticky lotions).  Recently I bought the Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning lotion because, I have to confess, I was drawn by its yummy cocoa butter smell.   And true enough, I smell yummy when I put it on and it amazingly last the whole day.    I was afraid it was going to leave a sticky residue though, because the lotion was kinda thick, but it didn’t.   I am happy with this one and now I alternate it with my Vaseline Healthy White lotion.      Human Nature’s Purifying Strawberry Facial Scrub.   I recently purchased Human Nature products and both AJ and I are now using the purifying facial scrub in its new strawberry flavor.   We both swear at its effectiveness in removing oil and dirt, without drying up the skin.   We use this 2-3 times a week.

I will share more about the Human Nature products I’ve bought as soon as I’m done testing them hehe.  So far the facial scrub showed immediate results andI plan to get a bigger tube of this next time.

Till my next post!   Have a great Saturday, everyone!

Mare, glad you liked the Human Nature (HN) facial scrub. There’s no bigger tube though.. Try the HN deodorant next time 😉 There’s a new variant starting March 10, 2012! 😉

9 months ago this feisty little cat we named Gigi 9 months ago this feisty little cat we named Gigi came to us super dirty (gusgusin to the max), malnourished and is in bad need of treatment for worms and fleas. Who would've thought that she will bloom into a really pretty cat, with salmon-colored nose, beautiful doe eyes, a prominent white hair scarf, and powdery white cheeks.

But she is very far from innocent, and is now feared by the male cats here twice her size because she is #GigitheCatBully pala 😅

Happy 9th monthsary, Gigi Ganda 🥰

To My Father By Georgia Harkness A giant pine, ma To My Father
By Georgia Harkness

A giant pine, magnificent and old
Stood staunch against the sky and all around
Shed beauty, grace and power.
Within its fold birds safely reared their young.
The velvet ground beneath was gentle,
and the cooling shade gave cheer to passers by.
Its towering arms a landmark stood, erect and unafraid,
As if to say, “Fear naught from life’s alarms”.
It fell one day.
Where it had dauntless stood was loneliness and void.
But men who passed paid tribute – and said,
“To know this life was good,
It left it’s mark on me. Its work stands fast”.
And so it lives. Such life no bonds can hold –
This giant pine, magnificent and old.

~

To our shelter and safety while he lived, we miss you so much.
Happy 2nd Year in Heaven, Daddy ❤
